Proud Mary, located at 1024 Great Plain Avenue in Needham, MA is a gift and fashion accessories boutique that offers a curated selection of gifts, accessories, greeting cards, home accents, personalized gift items and more. Our unique gift selections, knowledgeable staff and personalized services ensure a pleasant and stress-free gift giving experience.
MY INSPIRATION
The name Proud Mary reflects the essence of the boutique for many reasons. For one, as a tribute to my mother, Mary, who always put so much thought into picking out special gifts for her family. I thought about the joy it gave my mom to see someone unwrap a gift they chose especially for them. To sum it up the writer of “Proud Mary” once defined his inspiration for the song as “a metaphor about leaving painful, stressful things behind for a more tranquil and meaningful life.”
I opened Proud Mary on September 15, 2018. My hope is that everyone who walks through the doors feels that same happiness I do from running my little gift shop. Products are chosen to reflect the store motto that “Life is a Gift” and should be lived to the fullest!
